The art work – ‘Something that Rolls up’

The second cut…

This is the first rough cut of the animation. Watch this space for the final edit.

The first panel was completed in three days by one woman and was exhbibited at the launch of the SANBI ‘Living Beehive’. It consists of roughly 16500 tiny beads and is one frame in a 100frame stop frame animation.

The individual panels, approximately A4 in size, will be photographed and then be put together to form a stop frame animation of a pangolin unrolling and walking away. It will be shown at the ICC during COP17 on December 8.

The physical panels will be shaped into a pangolin and be exhibited.
